Mission
The mission of the university is to train its students in the areas of human knowledge related to the existing colleges at the levels of the first graduate degree and postgraduate studies; and meet the requirements of scientific research and the environment in a way that will satisfy the labor market needs.
Vision
The University seeks - within the next ten years, until 2020 - to achieve distinctive added value in the areas of education, scientific research, and community service at local, regional, and international levels.
Strategic Objectives
1. To attract and choose human resources from faculty members and their assisting staff in accordance with objective criteria to meet contemporary trends.
2. To provide appropriate infrastructure of educational facilities, including equipped classrooms, laboratories, and workshops; according to the best standards possible.
3. To continuously update the educational programs submitted in accordance with the latest global trends in the areas of study.
4. To conclude bilateral agreements with foreign universities for exchange of faculty and students, thereby contributing to enrich the university mission and scientific research
5. To provide scientific research requirements by encouraging active contribution of faculty members in internal and external scientific conferences, and to hold an annual conference at each college.
6. To conclude agreements with neighboring business organizations to receive Delta University students for training and collaborative scientific research.
7. To ensure the development of an integrated program for accreditation through providing quality requirements in accordance with the National Academic Reference Standards (NARS).
