A pioneering experiment for coordination between public universities and Delta University
For the first time, presidents of the six public universities in the Delta region - Menoufia - Banha - Zagazig - Kafr el-Sheikh - Tanta – Mansoura – will meet with the president of Delta University, to coordinate community service between the public universities and the first private university in the Delta region. The meeting date had been set for Wednesday, 30 December and will be attended by Dr. Mohamed Rabie, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Delta University.
Professor Dr. Abbas Al-Hefnawi, President of Delta University stated that the purpose of this meeting is to combine these universities for the implementation of many projects that will serve these students and universities as well as societal problems cooperation in this region. In the second academic semester, more coordination will be facilitated between these universities in various respects of cultural and sports service, training, competitions, and summer camps, in addition to organizing tours for students to visit the most important places, factories, companies, and major landmarks.
